Any F100 guys in here? Looking specifically for anyone that has done a 6R80 swap on a FE motor because Im looking at doing it on my 390FE in my 68.
I did pick up a 6R80 out of a low mileage 2011 5.4 Expedition 2WD. Im going to run the SpeedGems adapter and Quik6 controller. I also picked up a high hump trans tunnel cover just in case.
Just mainly looking for info/feedback from F100 FE guys that have done it. Thanks!

Re: F100 390FE with 6R80?
I've considered putting one behind my 302 clevor, but I want to keep the three on the tree as it is a anti-theft device not to mention the heavy clutch. With an FE I am sure 1st gear could pull a couple freight trains w/ the gear ratio so you might want to consider what your final drive gear is or do wheelies.
68 Ranger. 302 Clevor w/ 3 on tree, soon to have front disc brakes.
